Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach - South of London

Sunday day trip with Ben!
We caught the train down early on Sunday, from Caterham to East Croydon and then to Brighton. The weather was great - 24 degrees!! Pretty good for this time of year so I'm told!
Checked out the shops then walked down to the pebbled beach. Wandered through the beach markets, viewed some junior beach volleyballers (poor standards) and several acts (again - not that thrilling).
Walked the Pier, people watched, checked out the amusements and ate fish and chips on the beach - which was good but we regretted it afterwards - Don't you always!!!!

We then both bought a book and hired deck chairs and relaxed on the beach for a few hours before calling it a day. Murpm made me buy Agatha Christie - He couldn't believe I hadn't read one yet!!!! Page 17 and already lost interest!!! I'll give it another go one day!

After train delays and buses heading in the wrong direction, we finally made it back to East Croydon - had some noodles at a noodle bar and headed our spearate ways - ready for another week of work.

It was a nice break to get out of Lodon for a day....
