The Beginning of the 2006 UK/Europe Adventure

Accomodation:
Feb 9th - March 4th 2006
Dossing with Amber, Damian, Rachel, April and Vaughan - Mutrix Road
- 3 weeks on a matress living out of a suit case, found a job, got on my feet. Amber and the crew made me feel so at home - They were awesome.

MY APARTMENT:

- Found a place on gumtree.com
- Moved a whole 20 metres up the road into Birchington Road.
Flat mates - Nata, Tash, Nicole - great range of personalities - All aussie!

We are in the Top flat: My room is the top window you can seein the photo. The wooden built on section up the top is our lounge and dining room, with an outside deck. This has a BBQ area with fake grass and views! The BBQ is not your typical Aussie style, but it will do the job! House parties are a must with this set up. Rare to have an outside area in your apartment unless your on the bottom floor!

My Room: Managed to get a huge room. Just good timing! It's cosy. Not the Eltham home that I'm used to, but i'm getting by. Got a power shower! Thanks must go to Tash and Dec for the Bedding.

Location Location
We li in an area which has it all. On one side of us, within walking distance is Abbey Road, Regent's Park, Lord's Cricket Ground and Little Venice (Warwick Ave). These areas are where the money lies, similar to Toorak. On the other side of us is the Kilburn High (always under construction)- similar to St Albans for those who know it. Here we get our bargains, do our weekly shopping, and can buy anything fake or under £2.

I'm loving the variety - That clearly describes London living!

T.J.! What a 'Blog'!!!!!!!
I've got one too! Check out walshmec2.blogspot.com 'mainly' photo's some titled of my adventures to States in March of this year, 'Mum's' 90th! Also other photo's of Commonwealth Games etc..
You seem to be keeping busy, and 'GREAT' pics and commentary of your adventures! Then again you are known by some (many) as the 'Amazing Tony Jacobs'! (Couldn't resist taking the Mickey or Mikey as I say!) Maybe you should rename your blog, 'The Adventures of the 'Amazing' Toni Jacobs'?!
Will send (maybe with Hawk's help) the Swimming Certificate, I've given out my Year 7's already not finished with 8's yet. Off to swim at Watsonia Pool as Doncaster closed for another '2' months re-tiling!
'Tidying' up reports, even got them done on time 'sort of', still have to add some items.
Will add some gossip later!
Your 'Mate',
Walshy :)
